Venus Concept

300% increase in digital asset usage

Brand and Asset Refresh

Venus Concept needed a more cohesive way to bring its global portfolio to market across medical aesthetics, skincare, hair restoration, and consumer-facing campaigns. I led creative and art direction across brand refreshes, product launches, brochures, packaging, digital campaigns, photography, and video. By evolving the system across channels, the work gave internal teams and partners a stronger foundation for consistent global execution and helped drive a 300% increase in digital asset usage across our partner networks.

The Challenge

Venus Concept had a global portfolio spanning medical aesthetics, skincare, hair restoration, and consumer-facing campaigns. Each product had its own audience and business needs, but the broader portfolio needed a more cohesive visual and creative direction.

The challenge was not to make everything look identical. It was to create enough consistency that the work felt connected while allowing individual products and campaigns to communicate in the way their audiences needed.

My Role

I led creative and art direction across brand and asset refreshes, campaigns, product launches, brochures, packaging, digital, social, photography, and video.

I also hired and mentored designers, worked closely with copy and production partners, and helped give the team clearer direction and more room to develop ideas. Sometimes that meant providing an answer. Sometimes it meant establishing guardrails and giving someone the space to solve the problem.

Expanding the Visual Language

A large part of the work involved moving beyond visual conventions that had become common within medical aesthetics and beauty.

For the B2B portfolio, we wanted to move away from overly technical medical-device creative without losing credibility or information clarity. For VenusSkin, we explored alternatives to the floating-product imagery used throughout the category and developed a more ownable visual direction based on the product experience.

The goal was to make the work more engaging while still helping customers, practices, and partners understand what each product offered.

Leading Venus Heal

Venus Heal brought together many parts of the creative process.

I developed brand-art concepts, helped refine the script, prepared storyboards and shot lists, recruited talent, and contributed to photography and video planning. During production, I provided on-location art direction and remained involved through editing and post-production.

That level of involvement allowed the video, photography, campaign art, digital assets, and supporting materials to feel like parts of one idea rather than separate deliverables.

Building Across Channels

The broader system extended across B2B and B2C materials, digital campaigns, social content, brochures, packaging, product launches, photography, and video.

Each channel had different requirements, but the thinking remained consistent. What are we trying to achieve? Who are we trying to reach? Where will the work live? What does the audience need to understand?

Those questions helped us make better creative decisions without forcing every asset into the same template.

The Impact

The work gave our internal teams and program partners a stronger foundation for presenting the portfolio consistently across markets and channels.

Within six months, digital asset usage across our program networks increased 300%. Analytics presented to me at the time also showed more than 30% annual growth in social and lead generation across the Venus Concept, NeoGraft, and 2two5 Agency websites.

The numbers mattered, but so did what they represented. The assets were being used, the broader system was supporting the network, and the creative work was helping connect campaigns, products, and partners more effectively.

What I Took From It

Consistency does not mean making everything the same.

It means understanding the idea at the center of the brand, deciding which elements need to remain connected, and giving each product or campaign enough flexibility to do its job.
